Cake sale!
I
held a cake sale at church recently, and thanks to people's generous
donations I raised £150! Here are some pictures of me and my friends
baking the cakes, which included some Ghanaian flag buns!
I
have also been doing a lot of ironing (because my mum's rubbish at it),
so thanks to that and family donations, the total so far is £350!

I'm Suzie, I'm 15 years old and this Summer I will be travelling to Accra, Ghana to help in an orphanage for two weeks.

Beacon House Orphanage
I will be at the orphanage Monday-Friday 8.30-5, and will be helping out with various activities including:
- arts and crafts
- reading with the children
- helping with homework
- cleaning the house
- games and sports
I will be staying with missionary friends but need to raise £800 to cover the costs of my flights and vaccinations. I will also use any excess money raised to buy educational toys for the children at the orphanage.
